Ram Papish Wildlife Presentations 3/10/26 and 3/11/26

Cape Arago Audubon welcomes Ram Papish back for two programs. The Bear Necessities – March 10 at the Bandon Library, and Birds of New Guinea: Flamboyant and Flashy Birds – March 11 at the Coos Bay Library. Both free events start at 7 PM and are open to the public.

Ram Papish is a professional wildlife enthusiast whose varied career includes biologist, educator, photographer and wildlife artist.

The island of New Guinea has some of the most flamboyant and flashy birds in the world, including Birds of Paradise, Bowerbirds, Pittas and Paradise Kingfishers. But is it really paradise for birders?

The Bear Necessities features a congregation of hungry brown bears at Alaska’s Katmai National Park and Preserve to feast on an abundance of spawning salmon.

We hope you can join us for all of these upcoming events!
