Our partners at COASST that survey our beaches for deceased birds are in need of volunteers. If you are interested, they have an on-training coming up. They are hoping to beef up the amount of surveys being done on the Oregon coast (primarily in Southern Oregon!) so they can keep up really stellar data collection, and they need you to share! Just note that anyone hoping to be a COASSTer must have access to a coastal beach. No lakes! 

The training will take place on Tuesday, November18th from 5pm to 8:30pm. It will take place over Zoom. If you or a friend would like to sign up, please email coasst@uw.edu and say you want to join the Oregon training.
